Another honor for Afghanistan cultural heritage.

ACHCO's conservation work at the stupa at Topdara (Parwan province) between 2016 to 2020 has been recognized by an Award of Merit as part of the 2022 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation announced in Bangkok on 26th November. The jury stressed the contribution the project makes to safeguarding the built heritage of an important period of Afghanistan's history. Topdara is one of 13 award-winning projects selected from 6 different countries across the region.
